Since 18 April, Selcan Yakut, a student from Turkey who is studying in the Business English and Communication Studies programme under the Erasmus+ KA1 Action Programme, has been doing her internship at the Rimantas Stankevičius Pro-Gymnasium in Marijampole. Selcan is very excited about her teaching practice and says she has realised what she needs to improve in her home country: to focus more on speaking and communication rather than focusing on grammar. She was pleasantly surprised by the teaching methods and tools used and by the students’ excellent knowledge of English.
