Located on the Vistula River in the north of Poland, this year the university celebrates its 20th anniversary. A large number of guests gathered at the Wloclawek State University of Applied Sciences to mark the occasion. The University organised a festive international event, inviting not only the rectors of all the country’s public higher education institutions, but also representatives of cooperating foreign research institutions. Marijampole Higher Education Institution was represented by Kristina Miškinienė, Judita Simonavičienė and Artūras Lazauskas, who delivered their welcome speeches in both English and Polish.
Wloclaweck University and Marijampole Higher Education Institution cooperate on ERASMUS+ projects. Next month, representatives of the university will visit Marijampole.
