  • The goal of Marijampole Higher Education Institution in the Information Systems Technologies and Cyber ​​Security Study Programme is to train specialists capable of recognizing and solving cyber security problems, operating and maintaining hardware and software for computers and their systems, creating, servicing and administering computer networks, creating and maintaining computerized business information and e-commerce systems in a private or public organization.

  • General subjects -Introduction to Studies and Professional Ethics, Specialties in Foreign Languages, Language Culture and Professional Ethics, Human Safety.

    Subjects of the study field:

    • Subjects: Fundamentals of Cyber ​​Security, Programming, Internet Technology, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Graphics, Computer Networks and Security, Discrete Mathematics, Operating Systems and Security, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Cyber ​​Security and Cryptography, PHP Programming, Information Systems and databases, Object Oriented Programming, Systems Testing and Quality Assurance, Multimedia Technologies, Project Management Systems, Component Technologies in Information Systems.

    Optional subjects:

    9 credits are awarded for the student’s optional subjects. Students are free to choose electives from the list of electives provided in the list.

  • After obtaining a professional bachelor’s degree in information systems engineering, individuals can work as information systems engineers in various businesses, private or public organizations, as well as project managers, department heads, information systems developers, database administrators, computer network administrators, and information systems security management specialists.

     

    Upon completion of the study program in Information Systems Technology and Cyber ​​Security at Marijampole Higher Education Institution, studies may be continued at universities in accordance with the study programs in Informatics Engineering in the field of higher education technology sciences.
